This collected edition, published posthumously in 1826, contains Richard Porson's reconstructed Greek text of Euripides' Hecuba, Orestes, Phoenician Women and Medea with detailed Latin commentaries on each. A Latin introduction sets out Porson's theory on the metrical rules followed by Attic poets. The book influenced many generations of classical scholars.
