As basis for becoming an even better project manager it is essential to clarify you current competences in project management.
This can be achieved by using the tools included in Competencies in Project Management, which is the recognised compilation of easy-to-follow guidelines and forms published by the Danish, Norwegian and Swedish associations.
The clarification of competencies can be done individually, as a group of project managers or as part of the IPMA Certification of project managers.
As illustrated in the front cover, competence in project management requires a combination of applied experience, methods and leadership behaviour.
The content of the book is a Scandinavian National Competence Baseline (in short NCB) and is available in English.
Both the Danish and Swedish National Associations have made translations of the book to Danish and Swedish as well.
