Clément Huart (1854–1926) was a French diplomat and scholar of Oriental languages who published widely on Middle-Eastern culture. This 1897 book describes his visit to Konya, formerly the capital of the Seljuk Empire, interweaving his archaeological observations with references to medieval battles, Islamic legends, and his travel experiences.
