Hasanlu in northern Iran is a crucial site on the Iranian plateau. Excavations from 1956 to 1977, focused on the Iron Age settlement, revealed a fortified town attacked around 800 B.C. The aftermath preserved a wealth of objects and materials in their original contexts, offering unique insights into the daily life and circumstances of that time.
