Man kan godt mærke, at det er en "overgangsbog" fra A Court of Wings and Ruin til A Court of Silver Flames.
Den er på ingen måde handlingsmættet som især 2'eren og 3'eren, men den er vigtig til at kunne forstå nogle af relationerne (og handlingen) i den sidste bog i serien, og jeg var generelt også glad for denne bog i serien!
