Sir Reginald Fleming Johnston (1874–1938) was a colonial administrator and scholar who served as tutor to Puyi, the last emperor of China. This work, first published in 1910, is Johnston's affectionate examination of every aspect of life in the British-held city of Weihaiwei, including its history, folklore and religion.
